PRIVATE EVENT GUIDELINES

Thank you for considering Mingalone Italian Bar & Grill for your special occasion.  We are conveniently located in downtown Houston across from the Wortham Center at 540 Texas Avenue.  We look forward to serving you in every way possible and assure you that your party will be an occasion to remember.

We have included in this package a variety of set menus for both seated and buffet dinners.  The prices are per person excluding tax and gratuity.

Main courses are served with potatoes and fresh vegetables.  Italian bread and our signature extra virgin olive oil with fresh herbs is included with all menus.  Vegetarian dishes and low-fat or low-carb meals are available upon request.  Our delicious desserts are baked fresh daily.

If the following set menus do not appeal to you, we will be happy to assist you in creating a special menu for your occasion.  Our house wine prices are included ion this packet.  Wine and cocktail pricing is per bottle or per drink.  Our special wine list is available upon request.

The restaurant can accommodate 300 people for a seated dinner reception.  The Venetian Room, our private banquet room, accommodates 100 and has a full bar and sound system available.  The Venetian Room is available every day for your private luncheon or function at no extra charge. We also have a semi-private Colonnade area which will  accommodate 60 guests.

Your reservation date will be reserved with a deposit.  Food tax of 8.25% and gratuity of 18% will be added to your final bill.  The payment can be made with a credit card or by check.  A guaranteed number of guests is due 10 days prior to the event.  The bill at the end of the function will state the guaranteed number in attendance or the actual number, whichever is greater.
